Texas schools

Well, another day, another blog...

It's been refreshing to enter a school where what they say mostly matches what they do. Registering my children have been a nice shock to the lesson of being prepared. They asked for all the paperwork and each document missing meant another try on another day. Being prepared, there's just no substiture for it.

New Texans

School is around the corner, but yet everything's new. My children, Lisa, Jasmine and Ian are both excited and nervous. Should they be; maybe, but at the same time, they love where we are and can't wait to belong to a new group of kids who are hungry for more knowledge and fun like they are. I guess we'll have to wait and see how this blog episodes play out for my little gems.

As for our pets, Cece, our cat and Dexter our cockatiel, they are just in heaven with all the noises and breeze that grace our home and keep their interest peaked.

Green August

Can Texas get any better? Yes, by taking time to enjoy the different creatures that call it home. We just love all the different animals we've had the pleasure to see upclose so far here in our little Texas haven. So far, we've seen turtles, different sizes of frogs, hares, colorful birds, hawks circling the sky, different ants, white cranes, swans and their plain-looking cygnets, fish and dogs of all sizes, as well as cats. They are all beautiful and majestic; just the way God intended for this world's meaningful purpose. Recently, black dragonflies and a mud snake all in one week, how cool is that?!
Everyday since our move has been nothing short of amazing and green has never been a more fitting background for the flying kaleidoscope show the multitude of dragonflies generously provided just this past consecutive gorgeous bright sunny days we've been enjoying; right outside our frontdoor!

Still loving it...

Hello,

We moved here last June and I have to say that I'm glad we moved here. It's been great! I love looking out and seeing green everywhere: life existing within its camouflage. The dragonflies are like fluttering pieces of the rainbow and the abundant lakes that are teeming with life is so calming.

Everything we could ever need is within our reach and even though I would normally be begging to get out and get fresh air after 3 days, it hasn't happened yet. I hope that my family can also see our town through my eyes; the bugs are still getting to them.

Soon, school will start for all us and I look forward to looking out my window and gain inspirations from the beauty that only singing birds and swaying trees can bring.
